FFT Spectrum Analyser (Frequency domain):

The Multiplex spectrum shown below covers 0.1Hz to 70kHz. The cursor is centred on the RDS 57kHz sub-carrier. This can be measured to a resolution of 100Hz and 0.1dB.  

With the resolution increased more detail can be displayed at the frequency of interest and the resolution is just 10Hz. Here the sub-carrier centre frequency can be accurately measured and its modulation amplitude. In this case –46.5dB below 75kHz.
